Transform Call Data Records into Actionable Intelligence®
Call data records (CDRs) contain critical information for law enforcement and other agencies that investigate terror, fraud, and other crime. Recent data retention legislation has significantly increased the volume of historical CDRs available for analysis and potential intelligence opportunities. But, CDRs are in a variety of formats and may come from any number of communications service providers. This makes correlating and analyzing the data extremely difficult — especially within a rapid time frame.
X-TRACT® CDR is a comprehensive investigative solution that collects, integrates, and analyzes large volumes of CDRs from disparate sources.
X-TRACT CDR integrates service providers’ historical call data records, intercepted data records, and other communication-related information, such as phone books and cell location files. Designed for use with Verint® RELIANT™ or other monitoring centers or with tactical solutions, such as ENGAGE GI2™, X-TRACT surfaces intelligence that might be impossible to find with legacy manual systems.
X-TRACT Rules-Based Alerts and Integrated Analytics
X-TRACT CDR can correlate multiple service provider files and other relevant communication data, such as location cell records, to provide a large bank of standardized information for efficient, cost-effective analysis and intelligence gathering. Customizable rules automatically trigger alerts about suspicious activity; for example, a large number of international phone calls made by a target from a certain location.
X-TRACT CDR also features sophisticated, integrated analytic tools, including text mining, visual link analysis, and statistical reports, and interfaces with third-party analytic tools. These help generate more comprehensive and accurate intelligence and detect relationships that might not otherwise be found.
Secure, Comprehensive Case Management
X-TRACT CDR case management tools provide a secure way for authorized personnel to organize and share case-specific information. X-TRACT CDR features case folders for collecting all case-related data, analyses, visual link analyses, leads, maps, and more. Administrator-assigned permissions and roles identify who can read, write, update, and delete information and folders.
Rapid Searches and an Intuitive, Dynamic Display
X-TRACT CDR provides fast query response time, regardless of the number of records or databases. Investigators can search for exact terms, use wildcards, date ranges and other data parameters, expediting target identification.
X-TRACT CDR features Dynamic Investigation Pages, which display results of data correlation and sophisticated CDR analyses. Location statistics, visual link analysis charts, time maps, and the results of other analyses can be easily viewed by clicking on the appropriate icon. X-TRACT CDR Dynamic Investigation Pages help investigators and analysts quickly identify significant information and irregular activity and gain insight to leads that may otherwise be missed.
For example, investigators can see which contacts communicated most with a suspect and can drill down to view visual analysis and time line charts for each group of communications. Weighted scores, indicated by color, show the level of importance of each contact communication, and can help investigators prioritize their time and efforts most effectively. This is particularly important in a dynamic investigation environment, where priorities must adapt to changing events.
Designed for High Scalability, Easy Integration, and Rapid Deployment
With X-TRACT CDR, organizations can begin with a small number of data sources and expand the system as their needs grow. An open, modular architecture facilitates integration with existing hardware and software solutions, third-party monitoring centers, and legacy systems for more rapid deployment and lower cost of ownership and operation.
X-TRACT CDR is part of the X-TRACT solution suite, which combines the benefits of advanced data fusion technology and investigation methodology with sophisticated analytic applications to expertly guide investigations and expose new leads.
